18k Gold vermeil

• Keep your 18k Gold Vermeil jewelry away from lotions/creams, perfume, oils , deodorant. If your piece gets wet, wipe it dry. 

• Fragrances, makeup, lotions, oils , hair spray can reduce the lifetime of the gold plating . These products contain chemicals that will remove the shine of your jewelry over time.

• Avoid swimming in your jewelry. Chlorine, the main chemical in pool water. 

• Sterling Silver can oxidize with time, at Boas Jewelry we use a thick 18k gold layer of plating on our jewelry to last.  Just be sure to minimize your jewelry’s exposure to the chemicals.
